School Annual Report 2021-22

Corona virus dawned on us in November 2019. As the world grappled to come to terms with the pandemic, the Indian government, in hindsight, took the right decision of locking the nation down as the primal step to curb spread of the stifling disease.

The nation came to a grinding halt, driving every body indoors, including students.

Software industry provided the lead, shifting homes as work place, thanks to advanced and easily available communication technologies.

Educational institutions finding no imminent solution for reopening, they too turned to online coaching and classes.

It was not an easy option, for teachers, students and parents.

The teachers had to familiarise themselves with new technology and digital platforms which they never had used. On the other hand, parents had to manage their children's academics and their jobs.

Students too had their share of difficulties, to start with. They had to spend money on gadgets and wifi/internet.

The student response was luke warm initially. Students slowly picked up speed, learning how to make the best use of technology and with more student participation classes started becoming active and interactive.

The teething problems of online classes were link-up snags, improper audio-visual sync etc.

These problems were solved with the help of software professionals.

At the same time, Edtechs spawned and enticed children to learning in the cosy comfort of home.

To stay with the trend, Hi-tech scholars school chose Lead online program and continuing with it with encouraging results.

We got over the starting trouble in the first week itself and went full-fledged, organising assemblies to writing homework.

Students thoroughly enjoyed the classes and actively participated in assemblies. It was more like the school days were here.
